Glazed Fire Rated Doors and Façades
Glazed fire rated doors is used to seperate fire zones and to prevent harmful gases, flames and heat in the event of fire. Steel framed glazed fire rated doors provide E,EW or EI classifications. Only fire rated glass does not ensure fire safety but also the frame profiles and all other components needs to be fire rated.
Jansen Economy E30 offers E30/EW30/E60/EW60 (30min ve 60min fire rated)
Janisol 2 offers EI30 (30min fire rated)
Janisol C4 offers EI60, EI90 ve EI120 (60min, 90min and 120min fire rated)
VISS Fire Façade offers EI30, EI60 ve EI90 (30min, 60min / 90min fire rated)
Fire Rated Classification
E: Integrity offers effective and economical protection from flames and smoke, but does not prevent the transmission of heat in the event of a fire.
EW: Radiation Control maintains all the integrity performance of E (resistance to flames and smoke) when exposed to fire on one side, and also provides some heat resistance, keeping the amount of radiant heat transfer to below 15 kW/m2 on the unexposed side.
EI: Insulation and Integrity offers the highest level of protection from flames, smoke and heat. This classification of fire rated glass performs to the standard of E when exposed to fire on one side, and also restricts temperature rise on the unexposed face to below the required standard.
